THE BREWHOUSE

You might say that it all began with a crazy idea… but nonetheless, we took the plunge and decided to build a brewhouse from scratch. There’s Anna the barrister who’d been dreaming of starting a family business, Martijn the freshly trained brewer from Holland, and Tomáš the grandfather. Together they’ve created a brewhouse with an inn, where everyone can feel free and easy, grown-ups and children alike.

Anna began training as a cook while Martijn ventured to recreate an old Dutch recipe for spice-infused beer. Grandfather Gerard along with good friend Eva joined the team and finally, the Švihov Family Brewhouse was born. We built it for those who want to experience the true taste of the Czech countryside – whether it be our beer, wholesome food or the locally sourced fruit and vegetables.

The brewhouse is planned to open in late summer.
